I’m way beyond excited to share the official news!
I’m working on the second book in the Accidental Soldier series. If all goes well, it will be published sometime in 2017. (that doesn’t seem a long time away in the grand publishing world of things!)
The second book focuses on my displacement as an immigrant returning to the US after the second Israel-Lebanese war. The recurring theme is that of finding a home.
It will also include resources to help you live your life courageously so you CAN materialize your dreams and desires.
Here’s a temporary book blurb: (work-in-progress)
When Dorit Sasson and her husband return to their privitized kibbutz in Israel after spending thirty four days living like a refugees during the second Israel-Lebanese war in 2006, she realizes there is only one way out of the economic depression facing her family: buy a one-way ticket back to the States.
Arriving in Pittsburgh, Pennslyvania, with just three suitcases and a dream to wildly succeed in the States with no family or job waiting, Dorit tells the story of how she was able to overcome many cultural, social and economic obstacles as a returning American, now wife and woman.
Told with the same spirit of courage and heart in Accidental Soldier, the first book in the series, Dorit shares the journey of how she was able to come full-circle and claim her new home in Pittsburgh.
What do you think of the new book blurb? Does it engage you? Inquiring minds want to know!
